My Story

What started as a personal quest for healing became a lifelong passion for empowering women to reclaim their health and vitality.
Before stepping into the world of health and wellness, I spent 23 years as an elementary school teacher. Teaching gave me a deep passion for helping others grow, and now I use that same heart and dedication to empower women during their perimenopause and postmenopause journeys.
In 2015, my life changed forever. I lost my 9-year-old daughter, Grace, to bone cancer. I have been overwhelmed with grief ever since, and several years after her passing, I wanted to explore holistic support. I began experiencing worsening anxiety, depression, and physical symptoms that seemed to spiral out of control. I struggled with insomnia, weight gain, hormone imbalances, nervous system dysregulation, and a sugar addiction that felt impossible to break. These challenges were layered on top of the emotional rollercoaster of midlife - aka perimenopause.
I knew I needed healing on all levels—mind, body, and spirit. But I wasn’t finding the answers I needed through conventional methods. So, I embarked on my own path, diving into the world of gut health, hormones, and holistic wellness.
A Journey of Discovery and Learning
Every rabbit hole I explored—whether it was the gut-brain connection, hormone balance, or stress management—opened up a new understanding of how our bodies work. What started as a personal quest became a lifelong passion for holistic health. Along the way, I discovered I was not only grieving but also dealing with many perimenopausal symptoms.
Driven by my own breakthroughs, I returned to school and earned a diploma in holistic health and nutrition, along with certifications in women’s holistic hormone health and menopause coaching. This education, combined with my personal experience, gave me the knowledge and tools I needed to support other women on their journeys toward vibrant health. I simply had to share what I just never knew.

Life Beyond Coaching
When I’m not working with clients, you can find me reading professional books on holistic health and hormones (yes, I’m that kind of nerd!), spending time with my family and friends, or unwinding at our lake cottage. My husband Greg, our daughter Kenzie, and our two dogs, Joey and Brix, are my greatest sources of joy.
